Oustandig Without a doubt, this is the closest thing to the real deal. I have been fortunate enough to be in Italy and try it, and even though this one can't equal the one you'll eat over there, it is very close. Excellent, nothing short. I can't wait to try the 4 and 7 years old. I live in southern California and we have Bristol Farms and cheese specialty shops and they have good cheeses, but nothing like this one. You'll not be disappointed.

The King indeed! Fabulous! Wonderful cheese, as always. There is something magical about getting it directly from Parma. A minor complaint however; since it is sold in two pieces, it really should have been at least the advertised weight of 2.7 kilos. Instead, the combined weight, according to the labels was 1.36 and 1.23 for a total of 2.59 kilos, over a tenth of a kilo short. Good retail practice is always to under promise and over deliver, not vice versa.

AWESOME PARMESAN CHEESE EXCELLENT PRODUCT, REMINDS ME OF THE PARMESAN THAT MY ITALIAN GRANDMA USED TO HAVE - JUST A LITTLE ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE.

excelant product, very enjoyable We have not opened the new cheeses. They are frozen, to kep them fresh. We are using the cheese ordered in 2011. Love it, delecious.

very good also for soup! I use to cook the parmesan rinds in my soup, with parmesan cheese you dont waste anything!

Perfect After living in Italy for years we were dissappointed with American cheeses and were thrilled to find this shop that ships to the States. The quality and taste are perfect and the price is very reasonable (even with shipping). Look no further for authentic Italian parmiggiano.

excellant product We just received our shipment of ParmigianoReggiano Cheese, What a wonderful aroma, just had to try it made some made some gnocci with marinara and the grated cheese what a delight.Thank you very much it brought back memories of my child hood and my grandparents who came from Modena.
