I bought what I thought were US sizes. Unfortunately, they were European sizes. I asked Carol Zanin if Asolo would please offer me a one time forgiveness as the return fee was going to be $100. She said there was no forgiveness on ordering wrong sizes, so I paid through the Asolo sight the Fed Ex charges and emailed her along with sending the Paypal receipt, waiting for the labels to be sent to me. I paid for the return postage on Friday and then learned that she will not be in the office until Wed. 4/26. Since you only allow a short time to return these boots and I paid to get the label from Asolo, I reached out to find another person who could help me at Asolo. This above "feedaty" is the only response I received and no labels. I thought that someone else in the company could help me. Hopefully, she will get the paypal receipt and get me the labels by tomorrow. Please, make this happen this week, so at least I can get a refund for the two wrong sized boots!

Please do not put conflicting sentences about shipping cost on your website for resoling service. The total shipping cost should be clearly shown upfront. If Italy or EU customs charge import duty for used shoes for repair even though Asolo declaration document was enclosed in the package, I would like to know that up front, too. The total duty and postal handling cost in Italy was more than 60% of the value of the shoes.

I was disappointed with my experience. The cost of resoling my hiking boots was nearly equivalent to purchasing of new boots. The cost was approximately $64 USD, however shipping, customs and other extraneous charges amounted to over $210. Yes, the fact that I would be responsible for these charges for custom and shipping were disclosed, but not the actual cost until my boots were already in the box and I had paid for the resoling. I am very pleased with the work, I think the boots fit better now than before I sent them off to be repaired. I wouldn’t do this again or recommend anyone else do it as well.

Absolutely fantastic product, Very poor purchase website, Easy to confuse sizing, Absolutely unfair policy to consider regular size and Wide size as a product change thus not eligible for a size exchange. I give up trying to return my first purchase and donated then to the homeless, Will never order directly again

Shipping was fast. Product quality was okay. The shoe sling hook at the back of the shoe came off after 1-2 uses, so am disappointed.

Dopo 3 paia di scarponi. Questa volta Asolo mi ha deluso. Lo scarpone non è conforme per forma e larghezza pianta al numero solito da me acquistato. Sembra quasi fatto da due aziende diverse. Ha una vestibilità da pantofola. Non avvolgente

It should have been easy to include laces for my current boots with the purchase of my new shoes. I received a .message that they would have to be teo separate orders and I would have to be charged shipping 2X.

Asolo has great shoes. Perfect for my feet. However, the NUCLEON GV must have been some leftover/display pair. The right foot was considerably lighter in colour and looser in fit than the left foot. Additionally the right foot had 50 cm longer shoelace than the left shoe.

Great product but the return process was overly complex and the cost to return was four fold of my expectations because on returns you pay to ship to Italy. Better to buy from a third party retailer.

Difficult to return. Passed 14 days and will not accept (sorry, in the USA this is normally 3 days). Size 13 are too narrow for me, and I normally where size 12. I have other size 13 Asolo shoes so thought these would fit. Do not order unless you can abide by strict return deadline of 14 days. You must also prepay for return postage of 68 Euro from USA.

excellent resoling work. The boots look great!! I paid the cost of resoling (approx 85$), plus shipping back to me (approx 30$), plus Italian entry duty fee (approx 30$), plus shipping via fed ex (approx 160$). Approx 305$ for resoling boots that cost 300$. Not smart on my end. Not cost effective at all. I will not be purchasing asolos again. This is the second pair that needed resoling and that cost as noted above was very high

These boots are almost impossible to put on. The loop at the heel is too small to pull. I have slim fingers, but cannot get a finger into the loop to pull the boot on. I have to undo the lacing most of the way down to push my foot into the boot. Very slow and inconvenient.

Processo d'acquisto veloce. Qualità del prodotto apparentemente adeguata ma non testabile: il prodotto è da restituire perché le misure non sono rappresentative: il 47,5 mi è decisamente piccolo, e normalmente ho un 45,5 per le scarpe quotidiane, il 47 per quelle sportive e 47 erano gli scarponi da montagna che devo sostituire. Istruzioni di reso non chiare (come da mia email). Il 48 1/3 al momento non è disponibile. Mancanza di una copertura distributiva su Milano, che costringe all'acquisto online.

I'm very happy with my new boots they're well made and comfortable! However I was disappointed to find my boots heavily discounted on a competitors website the day after I bought them... You would think buying directly from the manufacturer would be cheapest! :-\ What really killed this rating... The boots took AGES to arrive, Asolo used FedEx, the worst courier in the world!! I would get daily emails promising delivery before 12 noon, only for the delivery to not show up! I waited at home for my boots for 5 days! Every day at about 1pm I would receive an email telling the parcel will arrive tomorrow before 12. Recommendation - don't use FedEx/Hermes!

Expérience malheureuse avec le transporteur FedEx. Au final, livraison effectuée mais avec 2 semaines de retard. Difficile de dire que la responsabilité en incombe à Asolo ! Sinon toujours aussi satisfaite de la qualité des chaussures (confort, sécurité, finitions).
