Pros: Very fast service, I received my shoes a few days after placing the order. Cons: I should have taken the size above, or ordered 2 pairs to check and returned one, but there was a charge for that, so I'll have to give these shoes I bought to someone else

The shoes are absolutely fine. My issue is only with the delivery by DHL: its tracking was way off (and very ambitious). First of all, I did not need the fast-pace delivery that was my only option. In fact, if it would have saved me some delivery costs, I would have gladly waited two week for these boots. But what was really annoying was that the tracking was off in such a way I stayed home waiting for delivery in vain on a Thursday. On Monday the tracking information changed to Tuesday and it was delivered Monday afternoon. But again, great shoes!

El servicio de transporte llegó tarde. Y con las botas, venían unos calcetines. Ya que tienen el detalle de ponerlos aseguresen de que coincide el número de pie (tengo un n° 46 y me mandaron un n° 38). Imposible ponérmelos.

I LOVE the product but beware of the international site if you are ordering from the US. After selecting US sizing and a size number, if you change color, it will reset the country to UK!!! If you don't catch this on the final order checkout page the email they send could be helpful. Except is it formatted in the most confusing possible way: UK 10-US (linebreak) 10(1/2)-EU 44(1/2). They separate the number from the corresponding country with a space, while using a "-" to connect the size number to the wrong country in the confirmation email. Then you must pay for FedEx one-way (75 Euros = $83) to get the correct size shipped. This is my 5th or 6th, maybe 7th pair of Asolo boots. The US 10 fits me perfectly and I even just paid almost as much as a new pair to have my heavier ones shipped to Italy and resoled. And you can get colors and styles from the international site that you can't get in the US. But the website is beautiful while lacking attention to really costly UI/UX design flaws. These cost Asolo as much as us and if the rep handling the return had seemed remotely interested, rather than indifferent to helpful feedback I would have given them 5 stars here.

I am very happy with my shoes but the delivery was not smooth. When I needed to change the time of delivery it was extremely difficult to do so. I had problems getting hold of someone I could actually talk to.

Only the three starts instead of the usual five. Unfortunately this product does not fit my feet as well as the previous versions for many years. I assumed they would and bought two pairs of the bat. Bit disappointed, will struggle on but they used to be so comfy out of the box, I wore them every day. Now what am I going to do!

RESOLING SERVICE: Good work, but very expensive - just buy a new pair. Got my shoes back good as new, but comfortable and nicely worn-in. But costs: Postage to Italy £20 Resole service £65 IMPORT DUTY!!! £30 Postage back to UK £20 NB: No duty charged on return of shoes to UK. I tried to get the Asolo sales rep to stop the import duty to Italy since the shoes were bought and paid for in UK, and not being permanently shipped into Italy. But he had no interest in helping out, refused to appreciate the logic (which was proven correct by the fact there was no import duty returning the shoes to the UK) and threatened to use the £65 fee to simply dispose of the shoes. I like the shoes, but won't be buying them again.

Submitting for a resole on line didn’t give me the option of sending my boots somewhere in the USA, instead I sent ($$$) them to Italy. I only learned that was an option after I sent them and then talked to service. That would have saved me quite a bit of added expense.

Asolo are nice boots/shoes but unfortunately the pair I purchased do not fit well for me. I have purchased mountaineering boots which fit, and two other pairs of low top boots. Both of the low top boots are too narrow at the toe, for my right foot.

The finished product was really good. My boots were like new. However, in the end, I paid over $230 dollars. I paid $65 for the resole and about $35 for shipping them back to me. I spent about $40 for insurance at USPS. I also spent $45 for customs on the Italy end and another $44 for duties the Italy end. Again, the product returned to me was really well done but the expense of getting my boots resoled in Italy was really high. When I bought the boots they cost me about $200 ten years ago (2012).

What I liked: the shoes after resoling look very new again. They have a different sole profile than previously but that is fine. What I did not like: you have to pay in advance for the service, not knowing how good it is. There are no examples on the webpage of Asolo. how well it worked. Only after the shoes had been already sent off to Italy I finally got a reply from a person. Before that I was receiving automated messages. That felt not very reassuring after paying the money and not knowing if the service will actually work. So please give some examples on your webpage how a shoe repair cycle works preferably with some pictures or a video. And reply through a customer service agent rather than a generic message without any association to a person. Thank you.
