Bought a replacement bike seat. Buying experience is fine. Bike seat is much more softer/flexy than expected. I will need to swap it out for something else. Not sure how to exchange or if I can at this point.

I bought a sprung B33 3 years ago. Comfortable and suitable for the riding I do. One of the chromed coil springs failed. It cost me just over £20 for a replacement, half of that was shipping costs as they ship from ITALY to the UK. That's not obvious until you buy a replacement. I emailed their customer services, but they didn't reply for several days. When they did, they told me I should order from a UK dealer, not from their website to avoid high shipping costs. The saddle is well made and should last for years. But support and spares for what was a UK company needs to be improved.

Customer service agent was kind. Gave me a coupon toward 30% of replacement part which was better than nothing. But for a high cost high quality project, replacement part should be free. I would be happy to pay shipping but wild to pay £20 after shipping to fix something that never should have broken for a quality product

I ordered a new saddle which arrived fairly quickly and seems good quality. The downside was I didn't get the 15% discount which is offered on a first order. The basket showed the full price so I emailed Brooks to ask how I would get the discount and was told it was too late. A welcome code had appeared on the screen but there was nothing to explain what that was. I found their website quite untidy and not very easy to navigate so if you are ordering BE CAREFUL in case the 15% discount is something that is offered without actually giving it.

My experience shopping with Brooks was fine. It was a little complicated to try to understand all the offerings and which saddle might serve me best though.

I used this kit on a Brooks B-67.. The longer bolts they provided in the kit were not long enough. I had to find a store that had a bolt. I'm surprised they don't test their kits on their own products first. Oh well, at least it was available

I received timely responses for the support representative. However, nothing positive came from the conversation. There really didn't seem much interest in solving my problem.

Solid build quality and would have been 5 stars except for being told by brooks the bags were made in jolly old England when they are actually built in China. Very expensive for a Chinese bag when most of the other brands made in China are $30-$40 less expensive. I guess Brooks is the Nike of cycling bags. I do enjoy a brooks leather saddle very much.
