There is absolutely nothing wrong with my Brooks saddle. However, I do have a problem. That is.......I ordered my saddle directly from the Brooks website thinking that it would come to me directly from the Brooks factory in Birmingham. But the next day I received an email from DHL which told me that my saddle was in their depot in Verona, Italy. I was shocked to say the least. If a customer like myself orders a saddle directly from the Brooks website thinking it is coming directly from Brooks. Then, that surely should be the case. I did not order an Italian saddle. I ordered a British saddle. Like I say. There is nothing wrong with the saddle. But coming from Italy as far as I'm concerned is not on.

Shopping experience was smooth although I missed the input of the introductory 15% discount code until after I placed the order and when questioned Brooks would not retroactively offer me the credit on the saddle purchase. It still remains however I have no other Brooks product needs at this time. Regarding the B68, it is a revelation on my Specialized gravel/touring bike. It replaces a B17 that I have had for many years but was still in good shape. I have tried several other saddles but the width of the B68 width better suits by 50 body. As the B68 is intended for fairly upright riding I was worried that it would not suit my setup as I and am running drop bars with the top level with the seat but it worked out fine.

Website was easy to navigate, and my item came in a very quick fashion, my criticism is with what I purchased. I bought a replacement tension pin for an 20 year old Swift Titanium saddle. The site said it was the correct pin for that specific model. It turns out, the pin was not correct, and I ended up having to purchase the correct one from a 3rd party site. Good news is my saddle is fixed!

I purchased the Brooks single rail seat clamp because my B67 lower rail and tension pin snapped in half after a year and a half of usage in the hopes that the modern micro adjustable clamp was the cause for the damage. The replacement parts were purchased and the seat repaired. The seat clamp is different from what you see on Chinese produced bikes and does have “Made in England” stamped on it.

Bought a replacement bike seat. Buying experience is fine. Bike seat is much more softer/flexy than expected. I will need to swap it out for something else. Not sure how to exchange or if I can at this point.

I bought a sprung B33 3 years ago. Comfortable and suitable for the riding I do. One of the chromed coil springs failed. It cost me just over £20 for a replacement, half of that was shipping costs as they ship from ITALY to the UK. That's not obvious until you buy a replacement. I emailed their customer services, but they didn't reply for several days. When they did, they told me I should order from a UK dealer, not from their website to avoid high shipping costs. The saddle is well made and should last for years. But support and spares for what was a UK company needs to be improved.

Customer service agent was kind. Gave me a coupon toward 30% of replacement part which was better than nothing. But for a high cost high quality project, replacement part should be free. I would be happy to pay shipping but wild to pay £20 after shipping to fix something that never should have broken for a quality product

I ordered a new saddle which arrived fairly quickly and seems good quality. The downside was I didn't get the 15% discount which is offered on a first order. The basket showed the full price so I emailed Brooks to ask how I would get the discount and was told it was too late. A welcome code had appeared on the screen but there was nothing to explain what that was. I found their website quite untidy and not very easy to navigate so if you are ordering BE CAREFUL in case the 15% discount is something that is offered without actually giving it.

My experience shopping with Brooks was fine. It was a little complicated to try to understand all the offerings and which saddle might serve me best though.

I used this kit on a Brooks B-67.. The longer bolts they provided in the kit were not long enough. I had to find a store that had a bolt. I'm surprised they don't test their kits on their own products first. Oh well, at least it was available

Solid build quality and would have been 5 stars except for being told by brooks the bags were made in jolly old England when they are actually built in China. Very expensive for a Chinese bag when most of the other brands made in China are $30-$40 less expensive. I guess Brooks is the Nike of cycling bags. I do enjoy a brooks leather saddle very much.
