Despite a lot of emails, I got no response. The whole return experience was mysterious, terrible customer service. I was interested in the brand, and it seemingly seemed to be the best option for me. I will choose another brand because of poor customer service.

Lack of communication on delivery delay. I am currently waiting for a package that I ordered >4 weeks ago. I did not receive an email on why this package was not arriving until I called myself after noticing an error in the delivery adress. Even though this error was fixed 6 working days ago, the package is still waiting to be delivered and I have not received an additional update or mention of a refund/compensation, which I’d consider fitting.

The package never arrived, whilst I paid and did not get the money back. You owe my the expensive shoes (€160) or the money. Customer Service said the address was incorrect. I guess the house number which I filled in got lost in the data transport from the website to the carrier. The birthdday present did not arrive and that is very inconvenient

I bought a pair of shoes from the La Sportiva website. The Grand Total was stated as £152. I paid and the shoes were delivered on time. A week later, I get an additional invoice from FedEx for £39.68 for unpaid duties. I thought it was in error and went back to check the invoice if I'd missed some charges. However, there was nothing on the invoice e.g. *duties extra". I raised this to their customer care team and they pointed to some clause on an obscure part of their website, which stated that non-EU customers (I'm based in the UK) are liable for duties. I'm sorry but I disagree and will be raising this as a case of mis-selling. Throughout the order process, I was not informed at any stage that duties are extra. In the invoice, it states “Grand Total” and therefore there was no indication of any further payment or a statement on the invoice stating “duties extra “. I would’ve happily paid (or not ordered the product) if they'd informed me during the ordering process. So folks, order at your own peril and I'm still waiting for a response from their management.

The customer service send me an email and when i answered they then told me that the problem would be fixed. It's been a week and my shoes are still sitting in a warehouse somewhere and the delivery app tells me that they still don't have my adress. I will never buy from la sportiva again

terrible. obsoletely terrible. zero indication that these items were being shipped from Italy resulting in custom charges. tried to cancel the shipping but fedex sent them anyway and left them on my doorstep. instantly requested RMA and returned the items and you want me to pay the extortionate shipping bill several hundred pounds wasted on shipping and handling fees and you dont give a hoot worst experience ever. never again, never ever using la sportiva again. scammed beyond belief.

I ordered without problem. But the product arrive manufacturing defect. There is a hard plastic lump inside the right boot, under the fabric in the ankle and heel area, that is pressing painfully against my foot. I own the same model in a different color, and neither that pair nor the left boot of this pair has this issue. So I sent e-mail to Customer support and explain the problem. I am still waiting responsible department get back to me. In 5 day I will lose my chance to return the product. I am not happy so far, ask me again in 5 days.

The experience was terrible as I had to pay £85 import duty to the UK. This is not made clear enough on the website. DO NOT BUY from this site if living in the UK as the import tax is prohibitively expensive.

My boots didn’t arrive & I’ve not been given my money back for it; I also wasn’t made aware of the £46 import tax.

Delivery cost wasn't transparent when made an order. I paid 70 euro for delivery to UAE (which is significantly above average) understanding that it's final cost, but I was forced to pay to UPS 55 euro more. So total delivery cost was 125 euro for 1 pair of shoes, which is unacceptable. E.g. all inclusive delivery cost on Farfetch is 15 euro for same item. Never will use your services in a future

Not happy! I've never had such an issue with returning an item. No one replied to my email. I'm very disappointed.

La Sportiva was born in 1928 when Narciso Delladio hand-crafted wooden leather boots for many lumber-jacks and farmers of the Fassa and Fiemme valleys (Dolomites, Italy). After the war, the demand for boots increased obliging Narciso to hire new workers: the good name of "Calzoleria Sportiva" crossed the boarders of the valleys. Starting from here the La Sportiva’s history continued to grow. Now the firm produces in Fiemme Valley boots and shoes for all kind of outdoor activities from climbing and mountain, categories in which La Sportiva has the market leadership, to mountain running, trekking and the skimountaineerging market. Recently the company entered in the skimountaineering segment and in the apparel market with a complete selection of technical clothes for running, skimountaineering and climbing. La Sportiva who produces mainly in his headquarter at Ziano di Fiemme, is distributed in more then 70 countries worldwide.
