I bought these boots because I had Asolos years ago, and those old Asolos had been my favorite boots ever. Unfortunately, my experience thus far with these new Asolos hasn’t been quite as flawless; however, I am still going to give them time. The old boots had practically zero break-in and were comfortable from day one. These new ones are causing some hot spots on short hikes, but we’ll see. These boots have impressive soles and might just require a bit more break-in than the old ones. One improvement might be better information about fit on the website. Perhaps it is there, but I didn’t see it.
