Silly me, I thought I would get the shoe version of the boot. Not so much. The shoe is narrow as compared with the same size boot. The design team decided to add non-tie laces and a keeper (loop on top of the shoe to retain the closed end string with slide adjustment mechanism). Note to the GT team: I know there are combat vets on the staff and I'm unsure who talked you into this very urban adjustment, but I did not love it. Anyway back to the shoe, That design change means if your feet are wider, you'll wrestle to get the shoe on and the narrow cut means that you'll experience discomfort during break-in. I removed the trendy laces and the lace stow and replaced it with good old fashioned laces that require manual effort every time and the shoe instantly became functional. I'm still in a long break in period to get them loosened up enough for full day wear, but it's getting better every day. Quality of the shoe itself is great so far. For the design team: (perhaps incorrectly), I think you're designing and selling a range/hiking/outside shoe, some customers may want the snazzy laces and the keeper, but for me they just didn't work. Thanks for your relentless pursuit of functional footwear.

These are the best shoes on the market. Don't ever discontinue them.

Fit to size. Medium width. Minimal break in. Comfortable and supportive. Lacing system effective

Great quality and comfortable, but I didn’t realize they run a little small. I ordered my usual size 11.5, wish I would have ordered 12.

Only had the shoes for about a week, so far I like them. They seem very solid and the speed laces are good. Will have to see how they holdup.

Outstanding shoe. Light weight, fantastic support, comfortable all day long. Good looking as well. Service was excellent. Shoe were at my door in short order. Was concerned about the size buying them online. They are "true to size." I wear a USA 13 with a hard insole. The fit was perfect.

Great boot, would love a little pouch or something to tuck the laces into like the Salomon’s have. Also would also love a 4” low boot version of this exact boot.
