It arrived VERY quickly from across the Atlantic. Only a small amount was needed, it smells good and it helped condition the saddle.

Smells amazing! Drys relatively quickly. Protects from water when dry. Does everything it needs to. I was slightly surprised by how small the 30g tin is, but it is exactly as advertised and very effective.

The best way of keeping your new or your longstanding Brooks saddle healthy and happy! If I have any complain, it's only that there's not much in one container of proofide.

Super Pflegemittel für den Sattel, zieht schnell ein, lässt sich richtig gut polieren. Ich denke, dass der Sattel durch diese Pflege lange halten wird.

Can't say so much about it - can be used quite sparingly and keeps the leather smooth. Practically colourless so after polishing even the outside of the saddle won't dye your trousers. And it smells very faintly of bee wax - i like it.

Its such high quality thick leather and fantastic looking saddle. It will take time to become more supple as expected and is getting better as I ride.

Proofides nourishes the leather and makes it a little more supple without reducing the necessary strength of the leather. A little goes a long way and leaves a rich shine on the upper surface without greasiness, but still penetrates and conditions the underside. I'm a fair weather cyclist and cannot confirm the waterproofing effect. Although a tin will last for years and the product does seem to work very well, I still docked a star because of the price.
