I sent my hiking boots in for the resoling service. They are like new, so am really happy with them. They included new laces just like the old one, plus another set of new laces that are a different style. That was a great surprise. Only 4 stars for this reason: For folks in the U.S. it turned out to be quite expensive...85 Euros to ship the boots using Asolo's FedEx account (vs. $225US FedEx quoted me), then 70 Euros for the resoling, 35 Euros for return FedExing and then I had to pay duty fees (for importing into Italy) of around 50 Euros. I don't have a local option for resoling boots so that is why I went ahead and used Asolo's service. But I would guess it would be a lot less expensive if I had the option with a local shoe repair place.

I’ve been very happy with my boots, which are now 25 years old. We’ve moved a lot and so they have sat in storage in Perth, then been in a hot shipping container to the northern hemisphere - and the soles started to seperate. The re-sole service has been great and they are back to new again. But fit like my trusted boots. ☺️ Thanks heaps. Logan

Sono sempre più soddisfatto di essere cliente Asolo dai primi anni '80 (ricordo i vecchi scarponi in cuoio con le pedule all' interno,ottimi ma un po' pesanti). Ora sono rimasto molto soddisfatto della risuolatura di un paio di scarpe datate tornate come nuove.Inoltre oltre al lavoro più che valido,mi ha fatto piacere trovare all' interno della scatola una comunicazione che significa,secondo me, attenzione al cliente oltre lo stretto rapporto commerciale,per avere un rapporto umano che di questi tempi non è poca cosa.Grazie

Asolo una garanzia ! Da quattro anni che calzo calzature Asolo e non rimpiango i marchi super-pubblicitati e “blasonati”. Calzata perfetta e manifattura eccellente, nulla da eccepire!

They are very well made boots , un-fortunately Italians have very narrow feet and although these boots are wider as adverised they are wider at the Ball of the foot not at the toes . Very dissapointing . Asolo used to make boots which were wider possibly based on the Munson last . Its a shame they no longer do as there boots are too narrow for a lot of non Italians .

Shipping was fast. But quick laces on very top of each boot cracked off. I wore them 3 times. Not sure if it’s worth sending back if they’re just going to crack off again. Maybe I’ll get a cobbler to put metal ones on.

The customer service is amazing. The boots look great. This was my first pair and I currently have 3 pairs of the same boot. Very rugged and stable. I wish there was a less expensive resoling process here in the states. I was surprised at how much it cost to ship, pay fees and pay for the service. All in all, I am very happy with the process.
