The shopping experience itself was fine. The ordering and delivery all went smoothly. There's a few improvement points on the after-sales though: - The website for the order status is very unclear and unfriendly to use - I could not access my order via the website, until I realized I had to change the URL from "en" to "nl" - For returns, it would be nice to get a return label, instead of having to arrange this myself. Don't mind paying for the return, but I would imagine La Sportiva could get better rates for the return handling.

My first order from LaSportiva had a minor defect. I received refund swiftly and I really appreciate it! I was however requested to cut the shoes, which I thought was a huge waste and not socially or environmentally responsible thing to do. There are homeless people or kids who can't even dream about the shoes like that and I would have rather donate and improve somebody's life with them. There should be some sort of mechanism you can check that defected shoes are donated (not sold). Otherwise, product, delivery and interactions are all good.

quick response and shipping. Now Fedex delivered at the door which is less good since you have to be at home during the day. Had been better to deliver to a pick up place. There are several stores nearby that are Fed ex pick up places

Good to experience. Shipping tracking worked well. Product as described. Customs payments into the UK were excessive. An estimate of likely charges would have helped. Bought a pair of La Sportiva boots from Germany and no import fees. Not sure why there's a difference

Very good, though the shipping costs were pretty high (13 euros for a shipment to the Netherlands)

The top was as described in the website. The fit was very good and the quality. The delivery service said it was going to be delivered on Thursday but did not turn up till Friday.

It took a while before I got the promised confirmation e-mail. When I wrote to ask for it I got an explanation immediately. And my shoes soon followed; In this case the shoes were quick, the administration was behind. All in all, content.

I like the simplicity of the store and fast shipping. However, I'm sometimes disappointed when sold-out products are displayed in the list of available products.

Everything went smooth and the delivery was fast. I recommend to use the online webstore to purchase shoes that you already have bought once to avoid size misfits. Even if shoes have the same size, the fitting depends on the shoe type.

Information on the company

La Sportiva was born in 1928 when Narciso Delladio hand-crafted wooden leather boots for many lumber-jacks and farmers of the Fassa and Fiemme valleys (Dolomites, Italy). After the war, the demand for boots increased obliging Narciso to hire new workers: the good name of "Calzoleria Sportiva" crossed the boarders of the valleys. Starting from here the La Sportiva’s history continued to grow. Now the firm produces in Fiemme Valley boots and shoes for all kind of outdoor activities from climbing and mountain, categories in which La Sportiva has the market leadership, to mountain running, trekking and the skimountaineerging market. Recently the company entered in the skimountaineering segment and in the apparel market with a complete selection of technical clothes for running, skimountaineering and climbing. La Sportiva who produces mainly in his headquarter at Ziano di Fiemme, is distributed in more then 70 countries worldwide.
