B17 Narrow Carved

The B17 narrow with a cut-out I ordered is beautiful but rather heavy and still large for a 117lbs woman with narrow hips. I was hoping the cut-out would be bigger than it is, and a bigger one would be beneficial for a woman. Brooks should make a female-appropriate one, we’re sick of having to adapt to a world -and every object in it-made by men for men.

I bought the B17 Narrow Carved saddle in black and I’m happy to own a Brooks saddle again. Great product, very fast delivery and the best for making long trips. Never again any other saddle.

B17 Narrow Carved

this is my second brooks saddle i also have a B17 narrow, they are deffinately completely different in feel. i like them both and the jury is out on which one i like better. the break in period has been a little longer with the carved saddle.

B17 Narrow Carved

Early days yet but a really good, comfortable first impression. I like the carved option and the narrow version I don’t feel at all through the legs when riding. I also like that the carved version comes with each side able to be drawn in with laces in multiple positions so that the narrowness is able to be maintained as the saddle beds in. I am 1.75m in height and 65kg so a slight build - no issues with the saddle for me to start with and the comfort should improve further still as it beds into my shape!

B17 Narrow Carved

Having had a Brooks saddle on a past bike, I knew that they can be so so comfortable. But on the B17, Brooks has decided to make the section of the rails that mount to the seat post so short and so forward that you can't get a proper fit with them without buying a massively setback seat post. I hate my newly purchased B17 carved narrow seat because of this. It makes me wonder why Brooks decided to make a saddle that makes cyclists uncomfortable. If anyone at Brooks is reading this, please give me my money back (and of course, I've thrown out the box and used it for a week) so I can buy a C17 which has longer rails, and fix this known design flaw in your best-selling saddle. You're better than this.

B17 Narrow Carved

Beautiful, high quality saddle. I've had several Brooks saddles, and the cutout does seem to improve the comfort level, for me anyways. Very fast shipping to Canada.

This seat is everything that that you would expect. Great craftsmanship, comfort and look!! Still in the process of braking it in. Very happy with the B17 narrow!
