Excellent saddle, price is worth it for sure

Very comfortable saddle to spend hours on the bike. But the rails are higher than my previous saddle so I had to spend some time on finding the ideal saddle height again.

I have not had opportunity to road test the Evo 00 Adaptive saddle yet due to late season conditions in Canada, but I appreciate the innovative 3D design and light weight. I did get the Evo R1 Adaptive 3D saddle (carbon reinforced plastic shell) in August for my secondary bike and found it very comfortable but I had to locate it outside of the recommended safe zone etched on the rails (moved as far forward as possible so that I wasn't sitting on the saddle nose). I use a Fizik Cyrano seat post with 20mm offset and the clamping mechanism allows plenty of room for fore & aft adjustment. Both models are beautiful works of art & technology!

Before I report my review I'd like to preface with information about me... I'm an avid bicyclist who rides 39 miles everyday except for Sunday. I do ride the MS-150 and used this past Saturday completed the Ready2Roll cycling 55 mile Alzheimer's run. My ride is a Salsa StormChaser Single Speed. Chainring 46t rear gear 16t. I purchased this saddle based on the reviews I read for folks who stated they purchased this saddle as I did not know anyone personally who spent $400.00 for a saddle. The saddle was installed by a LBS where I was 'computer sized' with my measurements and installed by professional technicians. The saddle felt like I was sitting on a 'rock'! As for my disappointment I wish I could find the correct words to explain why this saddle is nothing like the reviews that I read. So, now I'm thinking is this uncomfort I felt due because I weigh 200 pounds? I just felt like I was sitting on a granite rock for 55 miles. Where is this outstanding comfort that I read about from reviews? Perhaps these riders weighed less than 200lbs? This morning I rode with my group on a quick 40 mile run and still after relaxing my body yesterday there was absolutely no difference in discomfort. So I ask friends who I ride with that weigh less than 200 pounds to test my seat. Two riders who weigh approximately 160 pounds and 145 pounds enjoyed the saddle but the two riders who weigh over 200 pounds stated it felt like sitting on a rock! If you're comtemplating on purchasing this "fizik Antares VS 00" and you weigh over maximun 185 pounds you should reconsider the purchase as you may become extremely disappointed in the saddle not meeting the hype. Oh one last note: Did I mention that I'm a proud Italian who lives in Houston, Texas. My parents from Palermo Sicily. I think a disclaimer should state anyone cyclist of 190 pounds or more should make another choice.

I've had this saddle now for 3 weeks, and have ridden roughly 200 miles. I think this saddle is a keeper, it's very comfortable. It's expensive but well worth the cost in my opinion.

The saddle feels great! I’ll need to do another fitting from my LBS because I’m getting numb nuts despite doing minor adjustments myself. Otherwise, the saddle is quality and comfortable prior to getting numb nuts haha! Awesome purchase!

Tested the sadle to ride about 160 KM and good feeling. To check after some thousands KM?

I have only ridden about 250 km on the Saddle, (so far so good) and will post a review after I have ridden ca. 1500 km.

Yeah it's definitely comfortable second day rode it in the rain and can see some seddlement but it's not bad pretty sure water will def wash it all away, the comfort is something I'll say and the look is sexy ass hell
