Unfortunately, not as warm as I expected. So far I have used Defrosters from Specialized and also my leg was freezing - they do not have any fleece inside. I was hoping these would be warmer. They aren't. I'm currently using them with vaude primaloft overshoes and a merino wool sock. It allows me to ride for about 1h40min at -2/-5. Below these temperatures I have to get off the bike to jog for a while to stimulate circulation in my toes.

Ordered these shoes for a 335 mile winter adventure to complete the GAP and C&O trail from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington, DC. Maybe not the smartest move to try a new pair of shoes on such an epic journey, but I had no other choice because temps were forecast well below freezing with some light snow expected. I tried to go the cheap route before investing in these shoes by purchasing two different brands of overshoes, neither of which I could comfortably or reasonably get over my size 13 shoes. Did not want cold feet on this trip though so I went for it and so glad I did. I have wide feet though, and Fizik shoes always run a little narrow for me, which I think contributed to my feet being a little chilly at times in the first couple days of this Bikepacking trip. Once the shoes started to get broken in and kind of loosened up a bit in the right spots, and I dialed in the right weight of wool riding socks, these shoes were perfect! I put them through the wringer, riding through snow, ice, mud, all in sub-zero temperatures and I never felt like I needed a toe cover or overshoe, though the other guy I was riding with had both to keep his feet worm. Also, no blisters or rub spots, and this was the first time ever wearing the shoes! Very happy with the design, styling, and warmth of these. Would definitely purchase again, but I don’t ride sub-zero temps all that often, so I suspect these shoes will last me a long time!

I LOVE the Terra Artica shoes! It's been difficult to find warm, water proof shoes that aren't too heavy or bulky - these are perfect! They aren't "clunky" like my other water proof cycling shoes and they move much easier with each pedal stroke. While I haven't ridden in a rainy downpour yet, these shoes held up nicely in a 20°F (-6° Celcius) cyclocross race. I love the purple color too and have already received a ton of compliments about my shoes. I'm very, very pleased with my Artica shoes and am excited to ride gravel this winter with them

If you have wide feet, these might not be for you. I unfortunately had to return them as they were too tight around the toes. I tried on a 46, 47 and 48 with my winter wool cycling socks, and all sizes were too tight around the toes (I’m normally a 46). Would love to see a wider version of these released, because they looked great!

Size up. They fit narrow. I still like wearing a thicker wool sock. Easy return to get correct size. Great shoes. Nothing like having warm feet on cold days
