These are my first biking shoes, so I really can't compare them to others. Used them only twice so far and they are great.

Shoes are well made. Shoes fit small feet very well. You do have to remember to order half size bigger than the size chart. My foot is 277mm long, size 43, but if you want a little bit of room for your toes order 43.5 en you wil be fine. I think it is perfect shoe for CX and muddy conditions. The sole of de shoe is stiff and made from hard rubber. A little too hard for the commuting.

I have been looking for a shoe that has a wider fit. Not necessarily wide but my foot does not tolerate narrow shoes. Several reviews suggested these shoes but unfortunately they are narrow. The style is nice. The length was appropriate but it didn't take long for my foot to have hot spots and numbness in the front part of my foot. Bummer.

Shoes are excellent, but I think your sizing chart is inaccurate. A size 42 women's is not a U.S. size 9. Usually a size 9 is a 40, so the shoes are a little too big, but I'll keep them because I can put in two footbeds and they'll work.

Good shoe, normally size 39, ordered size 39 and it fits perfect, true to size. Narrow foot.

Not a big fan of the shoes. They are a bit too long and narrow for my feet but overall comfortable and the sole is stiff. I used the size chart before ordering. There are two noticeable issues: 1. The BOA system makes the fit too tight around the ankle. Depending on the angle of your foot (whether you drop your heels much) when pedaling that can make a great deal of difference. It's particularly an issue for me when out of the saddle. The only way to mitigate this issue is to let them loose and wear thick socks. 2. The sole lacks proper marks to align correctly your cleats. The trial and error process can take some time and become annoying. Maybe this brand is just not for me.
