Terra X5 Suede

Sophisticated craftsmanship, more unique colour, I really liked it on my feet. 🙂 Unfortunately I had to send them back, because the narrower toe would have probably made them uncomfortable. (My normal shoes are a 38, my feet are normal width, this shoe is a 38.5, but it still didn't feel right. I ended up buying a Fizik Terra Atlas, size 39, it's totally comfortable🙂)

Just one ride in - beautiful/solid build quality. Grippy lugs but don’t get caught on my M8120 pedals! Breathable and very cool looking!

Only have 2 rides in so far (about 60km). But with that they were super comfy and fit well right out of the box. No blisters or anything. Super happy so far.

Super Schuh! Sitzt wie angegossen. Habe ihn eine halbe Nummer Größer als normalerweise Senker gekauft und er passt perfekt. Den Klettverschluss brauche ich nicht öffnen um den Schuh aus- und anzuziehen. Ich bin voll zufrieden!

I generally take a 10.5, my options were 43.5 or 44, which according to the size chart is 10.25 and 10.75 respectively in American sizes. I went with the 44 but it turns out they are actually a hair too big, so true to size in that they do feel like what I'm assuming 10.75 would feel like, but there is no 10.5. The other downside is the top of the shoe digs into the front of my ankle quite a lot, and I wouldn't consider I have large ankles. Hoping they soften in that area. They look good, the colours are a bit darker then the image which I was actually happy with.

The shoe fits a little large. I am assuming that this is to make room for a footbed. This is ok, but, I really feel like the standard footbed should be more substantial and heat moldable, instead of me needing to buy my own. The performance is great, but the shoe is not what I would call comfortable, on a long ride it is so hard on the inside it left my feet aching. I have ordered insoles, but I really think comfort needs to be addressed. But the upper preforms well, heel cup is nice and deep, Boa closure is great.
