The overshoes work quite well. In my experience, what is not common for this type of product - i had too many rain covers that broke from other companies. it pays out to get shoes and covers from the same brand. - covers protect well from rain and dirt - not wet feet, and also they help to stay warm. - They are hard to get on, and the fear of destroying them in the process is there. But one figures out how to do it. - The Velcro at the bottom secures the cover well on the shoe. - Towards the front, the covers reach far enough around the shoe to sit well. - the issues is at the back. here the cover can come loose. Not often, and once put on properly, it works, but it is not as secure as at the front. I wish it could connect from there to the velcro patch in the middle of the underside of the shoe. To pull the back of the cover tighter in, or have a little hook that goes around the heel of the shoe (if a heel is part of the shoe)
