Asolo resoled my well worn pair of hiking boots. Shipping and customs issues stretched time frame out several months but the boots are here now. The work is superb.

The shoes are excellent- I have narrow feet with high arch and they for well, as well as being v high quality materials. You get what you pay for. I used the re-soling experience, and now I have my shoes back, and they are good as new. The company is great on communication. The one drawback I had was getting my shoes to this excellent service. Really important to follow their guidance and use a courier to deliver your shoes from door to door. I unfortunately used UK Royal Mail, which then had to transfer to the Italian Mail system. It did work, but there was a delay of 4 months in customs. Either be prepared for the delay and good comms with Asolo whilst waiting, or just use a courier.

Travail très bien réalisé - après un ressemelage on a l’impression d’avoir une chaussure neuve. Et le délai de réalisation est très convenable. Il serait par contre appréciable d’avoir le coût du transport au moment de la réalisation du devis plutôt qu’au moment d’envoyer les chaussures - certainement un point d’amélioration. Merci pour le bon travail réalisé.

The quality of the soul refurbishment was very impressive. The boots looked and work like new. It was affordable, however, international shipping did double the cost.

Buying direct from ASOLO was much easier than on the REI site. My last pair of Asolo lasted 30 years and were resoled three times.

The quality of work was excellent - 5-stars. My disappointment was website design and total costs that described the resoling program - 3-stars. Though resoling services by a third party in the US were mentioned in the beginning of the description of resoling program.... it was never mentioned again as one continued to read about the program and to begin the process to nominate my boots and become apart of it. Once I clicked on the link at the bottom of the description page about the resoling program, I was on track to send to Italy... never once in the processes fro that point forward, (that I could recall/find) was I asked if I wanted to send to a US Cobbler; I was now on the track to send to Italy.... As a result of the web design and questions being ask of me.... I ended up sending my boots to Italy when I could have sent them to a US cobbler. Which leads me to my second disappoint. The total costs were not clearly articulated or projected... I felt I was being nickeled & dimed as a result of sending my boots to Italy due to the custom fees. The write up describes the That I would have to pay customs (ok - no issue on that point), but never was I told how much. You all should provide an estimate of total costs... I felt I was "baited & switched"

I bought a pair of Asolo shoes several years ago and loved them. When I returned to the REI store they did not have that shoe model in stock. I finally decided to look it up on line and located it instantly. I ordered the shoe and it arrived within a short amount of time. The shoe is exactly what I've been looking for. I would highly recommend Asolo to everyone and will shop with them again in the future.

I’ll have these boots for life. A brand that stands by there product and repairs them isn’t very common anymore. After having my boots resoled they look like new and are ready for another ten years ❤️

Shopping on the Asolo site was easy. I had responded to an email clearance special. It was easy to see what shoes were in my size. Ordering was simple, and my hiking shoes arrived from Italy a few days later.

Very good! I owned the previous version of this boot for 5 years and probably had 1000 miles on them. Very satisfied with this updated version as well. I got the boots so quickly even though the came directly from Italy!!
