I have been riding on a professional saddle for 15 years and was happy with it. So, I bought two more and replaced two other saddles already on my bicycles. They sell out too often. More should be produced.

I purchased a Brooks original Professional (small rivet) saddle. Here are some issues I have noticed. 1. The rivets are hammered, however, on the original professional saddle, the rivet heads were not hammered, just flat 12mm symmetrical 2. The saddle is shorter than my other brooks professional saddles, and it's obvious. The saddle is 5-10mm shorter than the many (> 5) other saddles in my stable, and its not an issue of shortening or tightening of the saddle. The men's saddle literally looks like the women's saddle. 3. On the bright side, the sides are skivvied and the leather is super-thick, almost 5mm thick, for longterm durability.
