Resoling Backpacking / Hiking / Lifestyle models

Asolo did a great job resoling my boots. I was grateful that they could be reused rather than going into a landfill as trash. It also saved money as resoling was cheaper than buying a new pair. I was sad to learn that it is common for the soles of these boots to have an “expiration date” at which point the soles just fall off. I hope the Asolo team is looking for a better method that doesn’t have this problem that causes an otherwise great boot to be undesirable.

ELDO MID LTH GV - Size : UK 12-US 12½-EU 47

Loved my last ASOLO boots. This pair is too wide in the toe box. $75 is too much to pay for return. Now I am stuck with boots that don't fit.

NARVIK GV -Woman - Size : UK 7-US 8½-EU 40⅔

Great boot. Very light and comfortable right out of the box. I will be wearing these all winter! One thing to note, the sizing for US is wrong. I always wear US size 9 or 9 1/2 which is EU size 40 or 40 1/2. This boot is listed as 8 1/2 on the box. Buyer be aware.

Sent for re-soling, returned like brand new! Service was rapid, with frequent updates on progress. The boots came back looking beautiful. New soles, of course, but also new toe-caps, insoles, and laces. Even the scuffs and worn spots were repaired. Should give many years of additional wear. Very satisfied!

Asolo exceeded my expectations and did an impeccable job re-soling my most comfortable hiking boots from 25 to 30 years ago and did the task quickly. The body of the hiking boots were still in excellent condition, but over the years the soles had disintegrated from just sitting in storage. I am so happy to have them back in brand new condition. Although it seemed there were additional costs on top of the re-soling fee, such as shipping and handling fees, in both directions as well as paying for customs clearing ... all in all it still added up to being a lot more affordable then purchasing a brand new pair of Asolo Hiking Boots. The cost of a superior quality hiking boot has increased so much over the years. Asolo's on-line service/customer service was Outstanding. Always answering my questions promptly and always with correct information as well I received updates from the various departments at Asolo as my boots arrived in Italy and during the steps of resoling. This really builds good trust for the customer to Asolo. Excellent Company, excellent service and superior quality hiking boots!!! Thank you so much for the repair and your excellent and quick service.

I had my 10 year old GTX hiking boots resoled. Fast turnaround from the US to Italy HQ. Asolo provided all the customs and shipping forms and instructions. Good as new. May have been cheaper to buy new but I prefer to repair and reuse.

GREENWOOD EVO GV - Taille : UK 12½-US 13-EU 47½

Fast response. My second pair of Asolo boots, the first pair having been re-soled with the Megagrip soles and those soles having been walked untill the boots needed re-soling again or replacing. I chose replacing. Excellent waterproof and confidence inspiring boots.
