Was quite disappointed when my favorite all-leather trekking boots separated from their soles on a recent hike. The uppers were still in good shape, but unfortunately the boots were well past their warranty period. Asolo's resoling service is excellent, however, and quite reasonably priced. My boots came back in better-than-new condition, with toe protection that wasn't there originally. Return shipping charges to the US from Italy was quick and inexpensive, but shipping the boots there was over $100 (perhaps Asolo could strike a deal with some carriers to reduce this expense for us).

I chose to purchase osolo for years because of the quality, I work on my feet all year and it is important for the best support. There are countless cheaper options out there , but those options choose to make poor quality and use awful factories in China. Please do not go that way. I don’t choose to pay $300. Dollars lightly. There is a reason. Don’t cheap out. Thank you

The boots that were resoled look great, so far. I'm hoping that the resole process has taken into consideration all the reviews of newly purchased boots indicating that the soles detach from the boot. Mine didn't detach, but just wore out.

My purchase experience was not good, the Asolo sizing is off, size 9 was much larger than expected, return policy prevents you from returning the shoe after being worn outside, shoes were uncomfortable and hurt my feet, I wish I had bought the shoes through REI which would have enables me to return, customer service is unreachable by phone

I sent a pair of boots in that are 14 years old, purchased in 2008. The midsole basically dry rotted out eventually. Local repair shops wouldn’t touch them. I contacted Asolo and arranged for repair. I just received my boots back and they are better than new! New soles, midsole and toecap. New laces and a couple of new lace cleats. Factory cleaned and resoled they are better than new because they don’t need braking in again. Extremely satisfied with the process, communication , price and finished product. I would absolutely recommend the boot and company to anyone who asks.
