The trail shoes I just ordered from what I thought was Asolo, I suspect was some kind of generic company impersonating Asolo. These shoes are not the same quality as I've always received from Asolo, and they apparently were made in Vietnam. From what I read and understand about Asolo, ALL of their shoes are made in either Romania or Italy. Had I noticed that they were manufactured in Vietnam (Asia), I would not have ordered them. These shoes are definitely inferior to what I've always received from Asolo; when I put them on, I immediately realized they did not fit well at all -- Asolo boots and shoes have always fit perfectly right out of the box. I've been ordering products for well over 35 years. Also the tracking information and the shipment in general was obviously not from Italy, as they indicated.

Like a brand new boot, already broken in for your own feet! And recycling is better than replacement of a high quality boot with only worn soles. Great workmanship!

My shoes arrived promptly. I began by wearing them around the house to break them in without making them dirty. They have fairly stiff uppers and rub on my ankle bone but seem to be getting more comfortable as I wear them. I have worn them on trails and they have excellent grip. I have not yet worn them in wet conditions. I bought them because I have narrow feet, and shoes commonly available in my area that I have previously purchased have changed their lasts so that newer versions do not fit. The Asolo shoes fit well and their website has clear sizing instructions.

Ordering was quick and easy. The product was shipped quickly and the shipping costs were surprisingly inexpensive from the EU to USA.

I love Aslo shoes. They are true to size. The quality is always suberb. I like that out of the box I can wear them all day and there seems to be no breakin time frame. This is my 4th or 5th pair of boots and shoes that I have ordered thru the years. Though expensive, the quality in the long run makes them well worth the price.

The new arrangements for ordering and payment worked well, as did the process for paying Italian customs duty. The repairs were completed in less than a week from receiving the boots, and return was achieved in two days. The boots were returned in “as new” condition. Excellent service
