Definitely a better fit and a couple steps above in terms of comfort compared to the Samba. Both are classics and easy to pair with any outfit, but the Spezial just gets it right with the fit. More room in the forefoot (but not too roomy like the Gazelle), with a nice snug feeling around the mid-foot area. A little more plushness in the insole too. I would get this again and again.
