I purchased the Brooks single rail seat clamp because my B67 lower rail and tension pin snapped in half after a year and a half of usage in the hopes that the modern micro adjustable clamp was the cause for the damage. The replacement parts were purchased and the seat repaired. The seat clamp is different from what you see on Chinese produced bikes and does have “Made in England” stamped on it.

I have owned a Brooks saddle for 10 years on my custom build bike and love it. I recently purchased and e-bike to occasionally ride and the seat that came with it was not for me. Ordered another Brooks and it came within three days! Love love my Brooks saddles.

Love the seat . What I do not love it that it came in the brooks box, dusty, not attached to the cardboard holder and with the envelope ripped open prior to me opening it. This makes me think it was a return and quality control missed the mark on repackaging it. Great seat nonetheless but very dissatisfied upon unboxing. Last two I bought were pristine , attached to cardboard holder, with wrapping paper, and unopened envelope. My review is based on one experience of three. My review is not about the seat as it's still by far my favourite (b17 carved,brooks cambium octane and orange)
