C17 Carved

Finding the right saddle it's harder but with Brooks there is plenty of choice to suit your size, shape, gender, and style. I have found 'my' saddle in the C17 and have both solid and cut out versions. I have these saddles on my Brompton for my commute as well as my indoor trainer, my road bike, my mountain bike and my gravel - it seems to suit all styles and is a great fit 😊🚴🏻🚴🏻🚴🏻

Rain Cover

Fits like a glove on my Conquest All Terrain in the smaller size (S/M/L). Again: not exactly cheap, but worth the price. And worthy of a fine saddle like Brooks' are.

Proofide

Can't say so much about it - can be used quite sparingly and keeps the leather smooth. Practically colourless so after polishing even the outside of the saddle won't dye your trousers. And it smells very faintly of bee wax - i like it.

Multitool MT21

Very good quality compared to "normal" multi tools. Nice retro leather holster. And the "Brooks"-tool for tensioning does the job fine. Before this I had to use a pair of pliers. And yes: this is not cheap. In the best sense of the word. Buy cheap, buy twice. Or shop this item and never buy another multi tool again...

Tension Pin Assembly

Exact replacement part even for my decades-old Conquest. Replacing this was a two-minute job without chafed fingers so yes, recommended as a DIY solution. Saddle works like brand new now (though the leather optic is a bit weatherd by now:). So good to see manufacturers backing up their products with replacement parts. Thanks again!

Proofide

Its such high quality thick leather and fantastic looking saddle. It will take time to become more supple as expected and is getting better as I ride.

Proofide

Proofides nourishes the leather and makes it a little more supple without reducing the necessary strength of the leather. A little goes a long way and leaves a rich shine on the upper surface without greasiness, but still penetrates and conditions the underside. I'm a fair weather cyclist and cannot confirm the waterproofing effect. Although a tin will last for years and the product does seem to work very well, I still docked a star because of the price.

Cambium Rubber Grips

The grips feel very pleasant to the touch. The black is very dark and fits well on my flat handle bar. Installing them was really easy.

I have an orange C17, and the finish is superb. It fits my bike so well that one could think it was built for it.
