C17 Special

Bought the black version but the color is more like dark marine blue rather than pitch black like the cambium grips. Or maybe it’s just me, but it’s barely noticeable. All in all very happy with saddle, super comfortable, went from the B17 leather saddle in order to be able to cycle during rainy autumn.

Die Bestellung bei BROOKS war einfach und schnell. Auch der Hinweis auf die Lieferart sehr effektiv. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich das Ersatzteil so schnell bekomme. Ich bestelle gerne wieder bei BROOKS und kann es nur empfehlen.

Sandwich Seat Adapter

The sandwich seat adapter does not work as expected. When the sandwich seat adapter is fitted to the B190 to replace the double rail system for conventional seat clamps, it does not have the same vertical stability, which causes the double rail of the B190 to bend and become out of vertical. This is absolutely dangerous. As a countermeasure, a metal piece like the original adapter for the conventional saddle clamp (with a piece of tube inside for stability) must be fitted to prevent bending and deviation from the ideal vertical. I hereby urge Brooks to improve the sandwich seat adapter as it poses a safety risk.

Abwicklung der Bestellung Top. Besser geht nicht. Produkt sehr Edel , es fiel mir auf das bei den älteren Produkten die Alu Klemmen waren mit dem Aufschrift Brooks versehen , bei den jetzigen geht es ,finde etwas schade.

Cambium Rubber Grips

Was für ein Einkaufserle - online was raussuchen - und genau der Artikel wird einem zugeschickt :-) aber im Ernst, alles tippitoppi. Man wird bei Brooks/Selle Royal umgehend benachrichtigt, sobald die Bestellung aufgegeben ist, wenn das Paket auf den Weg geht und am Folgetag eintrifft. Ich bin nach wie vor begeistert. Die bestellten Griffe sind toll, wie übrigens auch der Sattel, den ich vor ein paar Wochen bestellt hab (der benötigt ja etwas Zeit für die Bewertung).
