GARMONT DRAGONTAIL TECH

Good solid boots, nice quality even in details - no signs of glue etc. I did so far one hike, walking in some mud and snow, and boots kept being dry. The sole is very firm, you can put on crampons. But be careful with your big toes - the front part of the shoe is very hard and especially on the descent you can hit them. Choose the right size very carefully.

Hi, Trek/Hike/Rock Lover Mates, It is my pleasure to let you know that I have purchased my 3rd pair of Garmont boots! :-D (9,81 Pulse, Nebraska boots and now a Dragontail Tech). With extended lace-to-toe closure the suede leather upper the Dragontail Tech are a real active, protective and comfy shield on your feet: rigid and stable, they offer a secure and snug fit with that Heel Lock system, so no more blisters! :-D At the same time, the icing on the cake is that I feel enough room to move my toes free. Thanking to the Michelin Offroad compund sole with semi-aggressive lugs adhesive plates in the front and back they reliably perform on both rugged terrains and in via ferrata routes; I feel the sole just like a sticky mountain bike tyre that holds you on the rocks anyway. The Dragontail Tech are not on the shelf of the featherlight products, but this is the price to pay for the durability, stability and protection as well as to carry even heavy loads in your backpack covering long distances in the mountains. Since Garmont reliably plays the game on the "True-to-size" side, fit of the Dragontail Tech proved to be suitable and perfect for me (in size of EUR42/26.5 cm; I have normal feet -> NOTES: In case your feet are wide, I am not sure that you will be happy with normal boots/). Therefore, and as I love orange and rusty colours, I was quite brave to pick them from the Women's section - and I am fully satisfied. :-D Special thanxxx to Garmont for the product arrived within 4 days of ordering a special joy for me that I could buy them 40% off! :-D All in all, Dragontail Tech are a splendid product that will be your reliable mates on your mountain routes. Ciao! Ti ringraziamo per aver condiviso la tua opinione. Ci dispiace sapere che le scarpe risultano scivolose sul bagnato, la sicurezza è molto importante per noi. Il modello è realizzato con una suola Michelin, suola a mescola morbida per migliorare l'aderenza e l'ammortizzazione, ma le prestazioni possono variare a seconda della superficie e delle condizioni d’uso. Apprezziamo il feedback e saremo felici di approfondire il problema e trovare insieme una soluzione. Team Garmont
