However, we recognize that certain specific floor surfaces combined with water can sometimes be uniquely challenging, and your experience highlights a situation we need to consider. 2.Breathability: Regarding breathability, we absolutely understand that you found the heat retention and sweating excessive compared to other waterproof boots you own. Achieving high breathability in a durable, waterproof boot is always a design challenge that involves trade-offs. While the T4 Groove incorporates materials aimed at moisture management, and we generally receive positive feedback on its performance balance, individual experiences can certainly vary. Factors like sock type, activity level, and ambient temperature play a role, but the level of discomfort you described seems unusual, and we take note of that. 3.Fit and Comfort (Toe Box): Fit is indeed very personal, and we're sorry the T4 Groove's toe box wasn't the right shape or volume for your foot. Each Garmont model utilizes a different 'last' (the form it's built on) to cater to various foot shapes and intended uses. While the T4 Groove's fit profile is often well-received for its intended user group, we know that perceptions of width, height, and overall volume can differ greatly from person to person and compared to other footwear. Our manufacturing process includes rigorous quality checks, aiming for a clean finish. While minor cosmetic signs of the bonding process might occasionally be visible upon close inspection, excessive or sloppy glue lines are definitely not the standard we strive for or typically see make it through QC. hank you for your review. As mentioned in the email correspondence with our Customer Service team- The T4 Groove G-Dry boots are a roomier / wide fit. Please note a wide fit can range from needing a little room (this model) to a larger width of an EEEE. The boots will fit most wide widths but not all. Our wide boots are only an E width. Anything wider than that unfortunately will not fit in this model. If you can email customerserviceus@garmont.com with your size and width, we would be more than happy to try and find you a model that would work. Thank you.
