They are light weight and look nice. The original Bifida is a far better boot. I've worn the T8 bifida's for over 10 years in the military and regard them as the best performing, most comfortable and best looking boot you can get. If I could swap them out I would. The top box is tall and they are not as comfortable as I was expecting.

T8 Anthem has a new and unique North American fit for our line, which is much roomier and very different from the T8 Bifida and T8 NFS lasts. Preferences for fit and looks are going to be personal, but this boot is not designed to be a replacement for the T8 Bifida or T8 NFS. Rather it is an additional boot in our T8 Family that is now US Manufactured for those looking for a different fit on a boot, yet still ultra-durable and even more lightweight. Thank you

These are not take out the box and ruck with kind of boots. After 3 weeks of wearing them a 12 mile ruck turned my feet to a blistered mess. I’ve never had that happen in nearly 16 years. Great quality boots, super light. Not better than any of the other Garmont products though for the price.

Thank you for your review on our T8 Anthem. We are sorry to hear about any trouble you have experienced with this model. Our T8 Anthem boot is meant to be more of a “field use” boot. It is a heavier boot and, in most cases, made to be a more aggressive boot rather than a lightweight use running boot such as the T8 NFS or T8 Falcon. Due to this, using them for rucking may cause damage to both the boot and user, as they were not made for rucking. If you can email us at CustomerserviceUS@garmont.com , we can evaluate further and see if we have availability to replace with a T8 NFS if you are still looking for a rucking boot. Thank you.

mid quality for price. , defective sole was covered up by the rubber molding, would of tore open after one wear. Belleville's are better for price

My only complaint is that I have a B width foot and the regular is just a little wide for me , all around a good boot.
