T8 LE 2.0 REGULAR

Love the size zipper. Break in period was a bit shorter than previous boots I’ve owned. I also feel more connected to the ground in these versus other boots, if that makes any kind of sense. If they last as long as other brands I’ve owned I’ll be switching all my boot purchases to Garmont.

Overall good boots. Seem to be a few hot spots near the front of the laces due to the design interfaced where the knuckles of the toes bend but works itself out over a week or so. Likely related to the oversizing of the boots overall as I think I'm still a half size over, but all in all the boots are good looking and functional. Intended light duty boot design with a lack of full stability but I bought them for office duty aligning to uniform reg. The loop in the back is useful for getting your foot in with the zipper down, but an annoying look after that. Honestly could likely do without it. Overall recommend, but plan for the boots being too big compared to your normal sizing.

This is my second pair of these shoes, and I love them. Ithe other boots I've purchased would barely last a year. Then I ordered these boots, and my first pair lasted about three years, and I am now on my second pair.

I do love your T8 boots and have worn them for almost 17 years during my time in the Army and now Coast Guard but the addition of the zipper was a bridge too far.

Really like the way the boot fits. I do wish that the side zipper went down the foot farther to allow the boot to be taken off easier

Took a risk buying these boots as most companies that make coyote boots do not make the black versions to the same quality and these are no exception. The materials used are of good quality; however, the construction is not super great. My biggest complaints are that the toe box is advertised as being wide and it isn’t so they caused me a lot of foot pain and the outsole is a really thin piece of rubber that is wearing down after 2 days of use in both urban and rural environments. The outsole also grabs onto mud and snow and just won’t let it go unless you scrape it in the case of the mud or after it melts in the case of the snow. In the few seconds before the tread picks up whatever you’re walking on however, the boots are quite slip resistant. I’m giving two stars instead of one primarily because the materials used are quality (even if the assembly isn’t) and because even though the rubber outsole is thin, I did feel fairly confident I wouldn’t get punctures into my feet because of how thick the foam midsole material is. If you’re like me and you've switched from military service to public service and are now trying to find something in black that compares to the quality of the coyote boots you’re used to: keep shopping because this ain’t it. So many of these companies are making a shoddy boot, slapping the same name as their most popular military boot line on it, and making a quick profit off veterans turned public servants looking for the same boot they wore in the military but in black.

Thank you for your recent product review. We take every review by our customers very seriously. For the sizing, on the website the T8 LE 2.0 is shown as a “Regular” width boot. We do not currently produce a wide option. Please note that, under the “FIT” section for the boot, it does say the fit of footwear is a “regular fit”. Unfortunately, these boots may not fit a wide width foot. We try our very best to make the fit as clear as possible for the customer so they can understand right away what the fit and feel will be like for the model. We also recommend ordering your everyday shoe size. If you are a half size, we recommend going up to the next full size to account for room. As for the sole wearing down within a couple of days, can you please provide photos of the sole showing this? Please sent them to customerserviceus@garmont.com. As this is not typical and may also fall under our warranty. Thank you!

UPDATE Garmont Sent me a brand new set of boots to replace the aesthetically damaged pair, which was more than I expected. Their boots are always top notch and so is their customer service. Let me start by saying I love Garmont boots I wore them for my entire 10 year army career over multiple deployments and they never let me down. I just bought a new pair of boots for work as an EMT however and they came in heavily worn and scuffed as theyd either been worn and returned or were damaged somewhat in shipping. The damage is cosmetic so I wont be returning them & I genuinely love the companies product, its just disappointing to get something in this condition as I look forward to a new set of Garmonts when I order them.

Fantastic quality. The boot is light, seems durable, and looks absolutely gorgeous. I replaced the insoles with some CVS brand memory foam/gel insoles because the stock insoles are a thin piece of foam, but now, they are extremely comfortable. No break in period needed, boots were comfortable from the very first wear.

This is a great boot!!! No question. However, the insole is paper thin and provided minimal performance. Also, it starts slipping around in the boot back and forth. I used my new insoles for my T8 extreme combat boots and it provides way more performance and comfort. The insoles from Garmont are around $21.99 (including shipping)
