Great boot, would love a little pouch or something to tuck the laces into like the Salomon’s have. Also would also love a 4” low boot version of this exact boot.

T 8 LE 2.0 REGULAR

Took a risk buying these boots as most companies that make coyote boots do not make the black versions to the same quality and these are no exception. The materials used are of good quality; however, the construction is not super great. My biggest complaints are that the toe box is advertised as being wide and it isn’t so they caused me a lot of foot pain and the outsole is a really thin piece of rubber that is wearing down after 2 days of use in both urban and rural environments. The outsole also grabs onto mud and snow and just won’t let it go unless you scrape it in the case of the mud or after it melts in the case of the snow. In the few seconds before the tread picks up whatever you’re walking on however, the boots are quite slip resistant. I’m giving two stars instead of one primarily because the materials used are quality (even if the assembly isn’t) and because even though the rubber outsole is thin, I did feel fairly confident I wouldn’t get punctures into my feet because of how thick the foam midsole material is. If you’re like me and you've switched from military service to public service and are now trying to find something in black that compares to the quality of the coyote boots you’re used to: keep shopping because this ain’t it. So many of these companies are making a shoddy boot, slapping the same name as their most popular military boot line on it, and making a quick profit off veterans turned public servants looking for the same boot they wore in the military but in black.

Thank you for your recent product review. We take every review by our customers very seriously. For the sizing, on the website the T8 LE 2.0 is shown as a “Regular” width boot. We do not currently produce a wide option. Please note that, under the “FIT” section for the boot, it does say the fit of footwear is a “regular fit”. Unfortunately, these boots may not fit a wide width foot. We try our very best to make the fit as clear as possible for the customer so they can understand right away what the fit and feel will be like for the model. We also recommend ordering your everyday shoe size. If you are a half size, we recommend going up to the next full size to account for room. As for the sole wearing down within a couple of days, can you please provide photos of the sole showing this? Please sent them to customerserviceus@garmont.com. As this is not typical and may also fall under our warranty. Thank you!

I received my boots two days before my scheduled Rucking event and I decided to wear them for the event. I'm so glad that I did because the boots were perfect for me. They actually helped to bring out the best performance from me.

Thank you for your review. The only thing that has changed with our T8 NFS model is the insole was switched out for an ortholite insole. This is to provide a comfier fit and better support while wearing for long periods of time. Otherwise there have been no change to the shoes structure or overall materials.
