I'm extremely pleased with Garmont. I had an issue with my boots, and their customer support, especially Jim, was fantastic. They quickly replaced my boots, and I received them in time for my military deployment. The quality is top-notch, and I'm thoroughly impressed with their service. I bought the T4 Groove boots from Garmont Tactical and from start to finish the experience was excellent. They answered all my questions regarding what size to order and the customer service was outstanding. Shipping was also lightning fast. The T4 Groove are also some of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I cannot recommend Garmont Tactical highly enough.

Customer service was great. I ordered boots for my son in bootcamp. They got lost on the base and he never received them. After talking to customer service they sent out another pair to his new base which he received. I also bought myself a pair of boots and they are great. They are comfortable and look great as well.

The boots fit perfectly and have held up well in rough conditions. I forgot to include some information on my order, and a representative immediately reached out for clarification and corrected the omission (thank you, Jim!). Overall, a great product provided by a well-staffed company.

Sadly, I am left unsatisfied with Garmont. I purchased the T 8 BIFIDA WIDE tactical boot from the Garmont website but discovered that the boot isn’t actually wide, it’s just named “Wide”. My feet are just a little wider than normal shoes and boots, which can be very uncomfortable and cause my toes to cross over each other. This is why I purchased the “Wide” version of the T8 Bifida. I was perfectly happy to exchange them for a wider version, I’ve worn Garmont before and was happy with them, even though they wore out faster than other brands, they were comfortable and practical. But, when I emailed Garmont to initiate an exchange, I was told I had to pay for shipping. I’m not happy with that. The name of the boot led me to believe these were a wide boot, when they are just regular sized. I responded politely to their email but was ignored. So, I will be paying for shipping to get my money refunded but I will not be buying from Garmont again. I’m just one person, so my business will not effect Garmont one way or another. But in the age of internet shopping, product names and descriptions mean something. And if their misleading, free return shipping is an industry standard. Both Danner and Nike have tactical boots and free shipping for returns, so I’ll be checking them out.

I ask for a 12 wide and got a 12 regular. The boot fits great but I can’t put my doctor prescribed insoles in.
