My son is a Basic Training and specifically requested that I send him these boots. He received them (I ordered directly from Garmont and had them shipped to the base) and my soldier said they are great.

Didn't work for my husband due to sizing. It's narrow eventhough it's wide in the description.

Hi there, Thanks so much for contacting us! I'm sorry to hear that the T8 NFS 670 wide wasn't quite the perfect fit for your husband. While it's a great option for wider feet, it's true that some foot shapes might need a little more wiggle room. The standard T8 NFS 670 actually accommodates a wide foot up to an 'E' width on a Brannock device. If your husband's feet are a bit wider than that, this particular boot might feel snug. The good news is, we have other boots with a slightly roomier toe box that come in wide sizes! For example, the T8 Anthem is known for its wider last and toe box area – it might be a fantastic option for him. Once again, I apologize the T8 NFS 670 Wide wasn't a perfect match. GARMONT T 8 FALCON REGULAR

Very sturdy and add support to my rocking. I have several pairs of the 670s and swear by them but these are sturdy, comfortable and need little break in. I have used them all Danners, Rocky, standard issue, jungle boots, Merrils, Asolo. Gamounts are my go to. 24 year US Army Infantry Soldier Leader and Ranger.
