Great sturdy boots. One of the few boots left that are built for combat, not some sneakers sole for people with soft feet.

These boots already have the soles coming off in 3 weeks of usage. Just walking around no harsh or or rucking or anything like that

If you haven’t used these boots before, they can feel clunky at the start but once you start breaking them in and using them it’s literally a breeze. Ran them through the trails, the rivers, anywhere I coulda gone and they were pretty good. I came from the NFS’s so it basically just feels like a heavier NFS with more tread to work with.

T8 LE 2.0 REGULAR

This is my second pair of the Garmont T8 LE 2.0. My first pair lasted me for about 3 years and 9 months. I wore these boots every day for work as an automotive technician and the only reason I got new ones was because they started to separate from the toe box connection to the midsole. These were perfect for an every day work boot in my field for a few reasons. 1) they are comfortable. I’d recommend swapping out the insoles with something more substantial, but other than that, the boot is very comfortable. 2) easy on and off. Pretty much once you set the laces, you never have to tie them again. Just unzip the sides of the boot, easy on and off. 3) Anti-slip outsole: this is really important in my field as I am constantly walking over slippery surfaces from oil and fluids. I have used several other boots always had some kind of slippage, but not with these. I also think the boot is very good looking.

The boots themselves are great, the laces are perfect, they are grippy on the floor. Light weight, they do hug your ankle for support. The quality of the boot is perfect. However I did order a 10.5 wide. They are not wide enough. Theirs a hot spot on the side of my foot. So long term wear is not sustainable. I will be wearing my Danner Acadias more again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It is great to know that the craftsmanship, from the grippy lugs to the leather finish and ankle support, met your expectations. However, I am very sorry to hear that the width of the 10.5 Wide isn't providing the comfort you need for long-term wear. Since you mentioned a "hot spot" on the side of your foot, here is a bit of information that might be helpful: The "Last" Difference: Every boot manufacturer uses a different "last" (the foot-shaped mold the boot is built around). Our wide widths are designed to provide extra volume, but because we prioritize a secure, "anatomical" fit to prevent internal foot slide, they may feel more streamlined than a Danner Acadia, which is known for a much broader, traditional stitch-down construction. Lacing Adjustment: Sometimes, a "hot spot" on the side of the foot can be relieved by using a window lacing (or box lacing) technique. This involves skipping a cross-over at the specific area where you feel the pressure, which allows the leather to flex outward more easily at that exact point. Break-in Period: While you’ve done a great job wearing them around the house, sometimes a thicker or thinner sock can drastically change how that lateral pressure feels during the final stages of the leather softening up.
