GARMONT T8 NFS 670 WIDE

I purchased these after doing online research for an excellent pair of boots for rucking. Unfortunately, after wearing them on an initial 3-mile hike, I developed a bad heel blister on my right foot. I did not expect that they would need to be broken in, as they felt comfortable out of the box. I also read several reviews saying they were fine out of the box. Unfortunately, because they were worn, I could not return them for a larger size, and I am presently in the process of trying to break the right boot's heel cap in some more before I try to use them on a longer hike again.

Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. I am very sorry to hear that your new boots did not fit properly and have caused you blisters; I know how frustrating and uncomfortable that can be. While we are unable to accept worn boots for a return, I wanted to provide some clarity on our policy. To ensure that every customer receives their gear in absolutely new and pristine condition, we can only accept returns on items that are in "Factory Fresh Condition"—meaning they show no signs of wear and are in their original packaging. Once boots have been worn outside, they are no longer in a resalable condition. Our official policy, which can be viewed at https://garmonttactical.com/page/returns-refunds, states that we cannot accept items that are worn or have been used. I realize this is not the outcome you were hoping for. For future purchases, we always recommend wearing new boots around the house for a while to ensure the fit is perfect before venturing outdoors. GARMONT T8 NFS 670 T.A.A. REGULAR

The Garmont T8 NFS T.A.A. version is hands down the best pair of boots I’ve owned. From the moment I put them on, I could immediately tell the difference compared to the regular version that are made in Vietnam. The T.A.A. version feels more durable, structured, and supportive, with a noticeably better fit. I broke them in during land navigation and expected the usual hotspots, but to my surprise, they were perfect right out of the box. They’ve also lasted significantly longer than my previous pairs of the regular version. If you’re considering Garmont T8 NFS, I highly recommend going with the T.A.A. version. You won’t regret it.

To ensure that every single customer receives a product in perfect, brand-new condition, we can only accept returns on items that are unworn and in their original state. Once boots have been worn outside, we are unable to place them back into inventory for another customer. For this reason, we always encourage customers to try new footwear on a clean, indoor surface to be absolutely sure of the fit before heading outdoors. Thank you for letting us know the boots have been worn. Based on that information, we wanted to be upfront and let you know that we would be unable to accept them for a refund.
