Easy experience to purchase and fantastic hiking boots. Beware, they run small. I'm a standard UK 37 and ordered the 38.5 which fit perfectly. I did previously try the 38 but could feel my toes on downhill descents, so sized up again and perfect!

In terms of the product I have nothing but praise for the fit and quality, this is excellent. However I was disappointed with the amount of the additional import costs that amounted to almost one third of the price of the product. An improvement would be for Sportiva to make these charges clearer at the start of the ordering process. I also have subsequently found that their products are available in England without these extra charges.

Sizing guide on the web page was brilliant. Product is fantastic. However, the custom duty I had to pay for delivery into the UK was a shock and very unexpected. I think La Sportiva missed an opportunity to be more transparent about such import costs. Hence only 4 stars.

Hello, I have recently purchased Ultra Raptor Li Mid Leather Gtx in a size 48. To be honest the boot seems good. What is very upsetting is that after saving up for months to be able to afford these boots is that I was then slapped with a £75 pound delivery/ customs charge which was not issued by La Sportiva and by FedEx themselves. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere on my order or in the purchasing. I am currently in a financially tough time and as I have said it’s taken months to be able to save for these boots and to have to pay another 41% of the value again unknowingly is very hash.

I have been a long-time enthusiast of La Sportiva, first for climbing equipment, then mountain equipment, and now for all kinds of technical equipment. In this case, however, I must confess that I am apprehensive. I bought some mountain hiking boots and the right boot doesn't seem right to me, the front part flattens my toes. I'm leaving on an expedition on October 23, three days from now, and I just hope the boots behave as they should. Despite everything, it's an excellent brand of technical equipment.

No problems purchasing climbing shoes. I was able to find what I wanted easily and the delivery was problem free. I've worn the climbing shoes for several sessions now and perfectly happy with them.

My online order arrived trouble free and the Boulder X Mid boots are very good. However it would have been better if they were available in an Australian store to try on and avoid the expensive shipping cost (about $100).
