Living in a relatively small 18th century cottage, space is at a premium. I’ve been looking for a while at extending tables and came across extending console tables, also Italian made and designed, a few years ago but couldn’t justify spending over £2000. When I found the Mobili Fiver extending console range, I was a little sceptical about how good the quality would be given the price difference. My confidence was boosted though when I read the (almost 100%) positive reviews, and I ordered my table in dark oak. I then hit my first problem - the payment page wouldn’t accept my payment method. I tried again, but still the same problem. This was solved by a quick email though, in which I also explained I don’t speak Italian and so was unable to phone through to sort the issue. I was surprised when I received a call from Gianfranco in the support department, who calmly explained that, whilst I don’t speak Italian, he speaks English and proceeded to help with the order. Problem one sorted and a huge tick for the customer care box! Problem number two was that by the time my new order was sorted, as Black Friday had occurred, my table colour was out of stock. However, Gianfranco to the rescue again as he contacted me to explain they were expecting my table to be ready for dispatch on 17th Dec, but couldn’t guarantee it being with me by Christmas. As I actually needed it for the New Year, I was happy to take a chance. At all times throughout the process, I received regular emails about the stage things were at. It was delivered in two packages. Be aware mine arrived on different days (no fault of Mobili Fiver who dispatched the consignment together). I was a little concerned that I had a box of table top inserts and no table to put them on! However, the second box arrived on 23rd Dec. Have to say, the packaging was absolutely first class (huge tick number 2). Now to the assembly. I have arthritis in my hands and my husband has dementia, so I was a little worried that I would struggle putting things together. I shouldn’t have worried at all. Each (very sturdy and excellently made) leg is held in place with just 3 bolts (2 different sizes) that are tightened using Allen keys (supplied). The centre support legs are held in place by a washer and bolt with a knob on the end that easily tightens and untightens for when the table is in Console mode. In all, it took me less than 10 minutes to assemble (huge tick number 3) and most of that time was taken chasing two naughty puppies who were ‘helping’ by running off with the bolts! It is extremely heavy though and I did need help to turn it over onto its feet, but once upright, I am able to lift it into position. The instructions are in pictorial format and so easy to follow. There is also a short video on YouTube that may help. I did watch it, but to be honest, the paper instructions are probably sufficient for most people. (Huge tick number 4). The extension mechanism is smooth and is already attached. (Tick number 5). The extension leaves are sturdy and fit into the top easily, leaving an almost seamless top. (Huge tick number 6). To say I’m impressed with the quality and service is an understatement. As I said at the start, I was a little sceptical about how good the quality would be. I shouldn’t have been. I’m now the proud owner of an amazing extending table that will easily seat up to 14 when fully extended and that doesn’t look out of place as a console table when not in use. Thank you Mobili Fiver. I couldn’t be happier. I 100% recommend the First Console extending table. The quality and customer service cannot be faulted. Only downside is I can’t attach the pics!!

El producto estaba bien embalado y montado (consola Angélica). Tardó menos de una semana. Lo único remarcable es que el transportista lo deja a pie de calle. La experiencia de compra ha sido buena. La consola es tal y como la hemos visto en la web. En general sin sorpresas.
