BUYERS BEWARE - I purchased Christian Dior sunglasses for close to AUD$700 (EUR €400) from Otticanet as a gift for my wife. After only a few wears and despite taking great care with the sunglasses, the gold hardware fell out of one of the arms. My wife contacted Otticanet to request a repair or replacement. The company is refusing to replace the sunglasses and is instead insisting I pay AUD$28 for them to ship a replacement pair of arms to me and for me to then contact my local Optician and arrange the repair myself. Suggesting I pay for shipping costs as well as any repair costs myself for faulty goods is against my rights as an Australian consumer. I have quoted my rights as per the ACCC website on multiple occasions and the company has continued to ignore this. It has now been nearly a month with no resolution and no responsibility taken by Otticanet. Their customer service is absolutely terrible.

I was sent the wrong item. I am trying to return the item and no one will answer my calls and the website return page doesn’t exist. I should not have to pay for a return label for your mistake. I want to speak to a manager asap before I submit an official BBB complaint.

I was disappointed because the picture showed the sunglasses with the arms on them so I thought that was what they were they were for my Granddaughters birthday so was disappointed when opened the box.

Glasses appear to be used, had fingerprints on lenses and what I think is sweat marks on the bridge.

Hello Will, We are sorry for the inconvenience. It's very strange as the glasses come directly from the manufacturer. Moreover, all our employees use gloves to handle the glasses. Your parcel could have been opened and inspected by Customs and Customs workers may have touched them. It would be nice if you could wash your glasses with water and mild soap. I was late and I had a wedding and you were very bad

Hello Saad, we checked your shipment. We shipped your glasses with Fedex with the fastest shipping service. You placed the order on June 18th, and we shipped it the same day, sending you the tracking number by email. The courier tried to deliver your parcel promptly, but at the address you gave us no one was available to receive the package. After that we contacted Fedex and they immediately delivered your glasses, the day after. We are sorry that you had to wait for your package, but for a speedy delivery it is really important to keep monitored the shipment and to indicate an address where someone can always receive the package. I don't recommend buying glasses from them. For the sake of their advertising, they take out an original cloth napkin to wipe the glasses, and put a napkin with an advertisement for their website.

Hello Evgeniya, all our products are authentic and brand new. We sell them with the official packaging and accessories provided by the official manufacturer. Dolce & Gabbana cleaning cloth was provided with the old models only. New models come with the fabric pouch only, as in your case. We remain at your disposal. Kind regards Otticanet

Hello David, we are sorry for the inconvenience. Due to jumps in temperature, the material of the glasses can move. This often happens on acetate frames. It is easy to fix bringing them to a local optician that will regulate them directly on your face. We are sorry for having sent you the wrong case.
