Unique and Exquisite! My family and I visited Parma last year, and we went on a wonderful tour of the local delicacies, which included an introduction to this fantastic product. We all fell in love with it, so I thought it would make a great gift. Price is high, but it's well worth it, since it really is one-of-a-kind. Would recommend this to anyone who loves trying new things!

Close to divine This is the second Tradizionale I bought. Check out my Modena balsamico review as well. The packaging is great except for the bit weird glass cover that surrounded the nozzle (which is very good by the way). I immediately dropped the nozzle cover thing and broke it. However, that's not an crucial item. The consistency of this Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Reggio Emilia Silver Seal by Acetaia DiScandiano is very nice. I have not tasted the Gold Seal, that would probably have even nicer consistency (thickness), but this will do the trick too! The taste is pretty much flawless. Complex, rich, delicious. Not too sweet, not too anything, very balanced. Will go well with absolutely anything, however you will loose the taste if you put just a little bit on something like a meat. As this stuff is insanely expensive, it's probably better to eat it almost as is, or with small quantities of complementing food like perhaps parmiggiano (I am not yet sure what is the perfect combination). If I was super rich, I would probably buy this all the time. However, for now it will be only for super special occasions. So: this is a high quality product. I can certainly imagine the Gold Seal is even richer (there is room for that!), but this already is just excellent.
