The Pfaff Slect 4.2 is a traditional mechanical sewing machine, recently producted, certaintly countertrend compared to the most famous electronic machines. It's not a cheap product, but its mechanic is not matched by the most part of the current electronic machines. It's very well-finished in the details and is very strong.It's also equipped with a wide range of feet and allows to make 40 stitches, very adjustable depending on your needs. The stitches, premising the correct fabric- needle-thread, seem perfect even to an unexpert person. The help of double feed dog is very helpful, the thread sliding is very precise. I can't see no use in prefering an electronic machine in spite of this one, except for the top of the range. Excelent. G.O
