The cutout and shape were good. The weight was ok but compared to my old Arione Classic it was too firm or hard. The flat saddle profile combined with the harder PU foam contributed to more pressure on my sit bones. The old Arione has a slight curvature in the middle which I think allows more area around your sit bones to come in contact and support the rider. It makes it a very comfortable saddle. Sorry guys but I'll be staying with my old Arione for now. I tried the R1 light with the injected EVA foam. It was way too sticky for me. I love the smooth cover of the original Arione. I also liked all the color options. That's what separated you guys from other brands. I have 5 original Ariones of various colours. If you reduced the durometer of the R3 and put some colour options with it I think you'd have a winner. Cheers.
