Very stylish shoe. I would recommend to get your normal shoe size not unless your foot is very wide. I went half size up and I had to return.

I was really debating on whether or not I should buy these (just because they are so popular but were always out of stock) but the wait was well worth it. The shoe is so versatile and you can wear it with literally anything! Just a note though, I found that these do require some breaking in and I strongly recommend some sort of padding on the back of your ankles whether its a thicker sock or a Band-Aid as they do tend to rub up against the back of the ankles. But after a couple of wears, it's much better!

This shoe is a bit of a flashback for me. Back in the mid 1970s Adidas made the ROM and Vienna. ROM was white with blue stripes, the Vienna was white with red stripes. One cost a little more than the other but I can’t recall which was more expensive. I think the Samba was available back then too. I decided to try the Samba when I noticed it was available. I have normal width foot, maybe on the narrower side. These are a little tight fit for me. I imagine they will stretch some if I wear them more often. Overall I like them. I wear them with tapered khakis and jeans. I would buy again but next will try the Samba ADV. Description on the ADV indicates that thew were designed with skateboarding in mind. To me that would mean a tougher shoe. Visually they look the same and the price is the same.
