The Frequenza 2 is an amazing running shoe. The fit and finish is the quality that I expect from Diadora and they delivered. The ride was amazing. The shoe is very comfortable making for a wonderful experience. The outsole provides firm grip on wet surfaces such as boardwalk that can be slippery. The midsole has an excellent feel. The compression and rebound propels you forward making the shoe an absolute joy to run in.

This was an unexpected surprise: there are few reviews of the second version of the Frequenza, so I took a gamble by placing an order without knowing exactly what to expect. The shoes are well built, the upper is very comfortable and the toebox is decently roomy. But the star of the show is the midsole, incredibly soft and responsive. The shoes are also pretty flexible in the forefoot, they don't have a plate and feel very natural. It's very easy to pick up the pace in them: they can be used as a lightweight daily trainer, but they shine on tempo runs.
