When the boots arrived I was very pleased. They looked like new boots. Like any new boot, I am wearing them around the house. They feel fine on my feet. The shipping to and from the factory was more than I expected, but the workmanship is exceptional. If the tops are still in good condition when the soles wear out I will consider having them resoled once again. Thank you Asolo.

I was disappointed with my experience. The cost of resoling my hiking boots was nearly equivalent to purchasing of new boots. The cost was approximately $64 USD, however shipping, customs and other extraneous charges amounted to over $210. Yes, the fact that I would be responsible for these charges for custom and shipping were disclosed, but not the actual cost until my boots were already in the box and I had paid for the resoling. I am very pleased with the work, I think the boots fit better now than before I sent them off to be repaired. I wouldn’t do this again or recommend anyone else do it as well.

I get compliments any time I'm wearing my Asolo Fugitive GTX I've been wearing a pair of Fugitive GTX for the past 20 years and theses boots are absolutely amazing to work in ! I work as HVAC Contractor so I do put all my boots through the ringer. In general theses boots last 3-4 years before I wear them out, compared to other boots that only last a year or so !! When it comes to pricing, I know theses boots are not cheep, but if you compare that you have to buy 3 pairs to 1 pair of fugitives you are money ahead.

This was my 5th pair of Asolo boots. They are excellent. I do a lot of walking and get up to 2 years wear from a pair. The sole is the first area to wear out.

The shoes size I wanted were sold out in the US, so I ordered them from the main Asolo site. Fast delivery, shoes fit better than expected. Awesome!

Ich habe meine ca 15 Jahre alten Schuhe geschickt um sie neu besohlen zu lassen. Es ging super schnell, inkl neuer Einlegesohle und neuen Schnürsenkeln. Lieferzeit wie angegeben und die Retoure inkl. Persönlicher Nachricht. Ich bin/war sehr begeistert! Danke

- Please try to reduce shipping costs. Even though I measured my foot size, the delivered shoes were a bit small for me. But it was too late; I couldn't get a new one due to time limitations and not without paying the extra fee of return. For me, that was ~25euros (NL to IT), which was a bit too much. So in total I had to pay ~40euros for something I didn't keep. - Try to shut down asolonederland. It's a scam.

I'm grateful for the resoling service by Asolo. It allowed me to revitalize and use boots that had been well broken in over years and traveled to many memorable places with me. It saved me the expense of buying new boots. Service support was responsive and helpful. It would be good for other interested in this service to be aware that customs and duty fees aren't known until actual shipping is done so I did spend a little more than expected initially. And of course it takes time to figure out the process to get the boots mailed out. The only issue I ran into that I couldn't solve on my own was setting up the resoling service couldn't be done by me as the website wouldn't accept my picture file format. Customer service did respond to my request for help and walked me through the process from there onwards. My boots were received back in great shape with new laces and resoled. Thank you Asolo!

The boots were not as I expected so am in the process of trying to send them back for a refund. I'm in the UK and Asolo are in Italy. There was no help from them at all as the UK is no longer in the EU. I needed their VAT number and EORI number to send the product back. They refused to give me that information, making the returns process almost impossible. I had to look the information up myself through various online resources and now the product is stuck in customs. I may never get my money back.
