I don’t want this review to sound overly negative, but I don’t have great things to say. I love asolo shoes. Love them. Amazing. Customer service, on the other hand is less than desirable. First of all, please be aware that if you order from asolo on their website, the products ship directly from Italy. That means that if you need to return an item because they are a half size too big, fedex will want 250 dollars, in my case, to ship the return item back to Italy from the states. Kind of tough. So, I contacted Carol Zanin with their customer service department and asked if a better shipping rate could be extended to customers. She never even bothered to respond. I sent an email to her explaining that I was upset about not hearing back from her. The answer could have been no. I am still owed a response based on common courtesy. Pretty poor treatment, and I can’t give you guys a good review. I’m stuck with shoes that don’t fit, which is what it is, but salt in that wound was unnecessary. 0 stars for the experience if I could. Pretty disappointing.

At Asolo we do not offer free shipping and returns and the costs for the returns are at customer's expensive; after contacting our customer service we proposed to you to use our FedEx subscription which has a mroe reasonable price, but by now we haven't recieved any answer. Asolo.com is headquartered in Italy & is different from Asolo-USA. com. Its website offers more hard-to-find sizes (and isn't sold out of everything!) I bought a small men's size boot, hoping it would be wider than the equivalent woman's size. It was, but not enough for my wide feet. Alas, you are on the hook for return international shipping, costing upwards of $60. Asolo is perhaps the best hiking-boot makers in the world but like most footwear designed in Italy, Asolos are geared for narrow, finely boned feet (think Prada). I wish there was the option to return to a US location. The return was more involved but the international customer service is excellent

Sent boots from N America to Asolo Italy for re-sole. Process is long and complex. Boots are back in my hand sand look great.

15 year old boots were sent for resoling and have come back as good as new. Speedy service, once I got through the international clearance postal service, and great value compared to buying new.

The boots look new - well, except for where the uppers were scuffed. Asolo not only completely rebuilt the soles, but repaired some minor seam separation to the uppers. Very good work from a great company grazie molto!
