My overall experience with the resoling process is very positive. My boots have returned and are spectacular. They are like new boots and I cant wait to get them dirty again. I am grateful for the customer service assistance of Carol and Ludvica. They provided excellent guidance during the process. Understanding the international shipping process and duty costs can be confusing to folks who do not normally make international shipments. Carol and Ludvica helped greatly to clarify the process and costs. In addition, the constant updates during the repair process were much appreciated. When the soles of my boots were damaged, I was upset at losing my favorite boots. But the resoling process and return of my boots make me very happy. Tom

The Asolo Resoling experience was exactly what I was hoping for. They clearly communicated the process, where to send the boots, and the timeline for return. Upon return I received what I thought were brand new boots! My resoled boots look near-new, and the box even included a nice note and an extra pair of laces. Well done Asolo!

I had my last pair of Stynger Asolo hiking boots for almost 17 years. They kept my feet completely dry in snow, rain, and crossing streams. Even for 8 days on the Westhighland Way, my feet stayed dry. The Stynger boots are fantastic. Great traction, great support. I am a 8.5 in regular American sizes except for Tory Burch and Nike, where I am a 9. In European sizes, I am always a 39, which proved to be the case with these boots. The 39 provided me with plenty of room for thick socks. I've taken them out for just a few miles of walking to break them in, and they feel great. As for shipping, they arrived at my doorstep remarkably quickly. Truly, no issues with any part of this purchase. I remain a loyal Asolo hiking boot fan.

Quick response from customer service, wanted to check if my shoes had arrived for resole. They had some issue updating status, but quickly to an answer and the status was updated.

Our experience was mixed. We sent 2 pair of boots from the US to Italy to have them repaired. Excellent service and communication with the first pair. The second pair is STILL stuck in customs and we have reached out to ASOLo customer service repeatedly to try and get them out of customs and not ONE reply back! 5 star service on the first pair but no help or communication with the second. We have confirmed with tracking that they are still at customs ( sent at end of February). I have sent multiple unanswered emails since the first pair were returned, and no reply to any of them. I was so happy with the first pair of boots but so sad that the second have been sitting in customs for so long. I am happy to pay any additional fees if needed, but I cannot get anyone to help me with this issue.

Once we knew what size my wife needed everything was a breeze. The delivery was very fast, but I would have preferred having a cheaper option to FedEX.

I used the Asolo Resoling scheme for my walking boots. It was excellent- clear instructions and process, good updates from Asolo and the returned boots have been done beautifully. Very very happy with the process, experience and end result.

The overall online shopping experience with Asolo was smooth and the shoes were delivered in due time. However, the shipping cost is a bit expensive.

I went down my requisite deep dive here, searching for a shoe that can stand up to my native Michigan cold seasons while not appear like some type of specialty extreme outdoor shoe; something I could wear on my bike commute to work in snow/slush/rain/shine, then keep wearing once I got to work, so for most days in general. That honed by search down to this Asolo Field GV, in brown. Another shoe I zeroed in on and tried out is the Attiva by Crispi, another a great Italian shoe, but it lacked gore-tex and was very much geared toward warmer fair weather dry summer months. The Field GV exceled here and checked all my boxes for almost year-round all season shoes with the gore-tex, a Vibram sole, and leather (vs suede). I’ve had the shoes just about 3 months now at time of this writing (April 2025), and wanted to wait to test them out before any review. I have worn them daily in deep Michigan winter, a trip to the Colorado Rockies in February, and now well into spring. In Colorado I ended up wearing the Asolo Field GV shoes the entire time in the towns around the Five Mountain pass area which was a surprise since I’d packed hiking boots for the trip too. On a recent northern Michigan camping trip I also rarely took off these Asolo shoes, despite packing boots, they were arguably perfect. The shoe is extremely durable, lightweight, waterproof (to the ankle), and true to size (on the Crispi I had to do full size down). You could wear these as a purpose hiking shoe as much as year-round everyday shoe. They might be a little warm in summer with the gore-tex. For that messy wintry mix, spring rain, cold mornings and getting around town it shines though, since I can be on snow or ice and then step in a puddle without ruining the day. Obviously the shoes are pricey compared to many out there, but this is absolutely one of those cliché “you get what you pay for” instances. I would rather have a pair of shoes like this for many years vs a cheaper manufactured pair that is not as comfortable and breaks down after a season or two. These shipped within a day from Asolo in Italy and arrived with FedEx tracking days later. I will buy their hiking boots next. 100% recommend for those seeking this type of shoe.

Le scarpe sono molto belle e sembrano anche molto resistenti, purtroppo le ho acquistate affidandomi cecamente alla loro taglia, 42, che è il numero che porto normalmente e che corrisponde per tutte lescarpe che fino ad ora ho acquistatoa 26,5 Cm. Indossandole le hotrovate un pochinograndi così indagando hoscoperto che per Asolo il numero 42 corrisponde a 27 cm quindi mezzo centimetro in più. Mi auguroche con un po di cotone possa sistemare la mia svista. Per il resto soddisfatto
