I absolutely had to get these sneakers. They are everywhere in France. I like how they can be styled with jeans, pants, shorts and dresses. I got a size 7.5 women’s they seem to be too big on me. I normally wear 6.5-7.5 in sneakers. It’s the length and they are a little wide on me. I just bought another pair size 7. I will compare the two and return one. These were suppose to be a Xmas gift for my sister but I’m keeping them. They are stiff because of the leather I’m sure they will break in. Another reviewer mentioned hers worn in a little and got bigger. This is another reason for me going down a size. Had no issues with rubbing around the ankles. The tongue didn’t rub, stayed in place. If you have no issues wearing converse sneakers you will be fine with these sneaker. If you need arch support or have feet problems and wear insole's you might want to call adidas and ask about the sizing. I personally think if you have wide feet you might go up a size. If you have a normal arch and a normal forefoot go down a size from your running shoe. As I am an 8 in running shoes. This is my opinion. Hope it helps.
