The materials feel high quality, and the shoes are lightweight and versatile—perfect for casual wear and street style. However, once I started walking in them, I noticed a major downside: lack of support. At size 7.5, the fit was true to size, but I felt a surprising lack of stability—almost like I was off balance. The flat sole doesn’t offer much in terms of arch or heel support, which made longer walks uncomfortable. It felt like my feet were working harder to stay stable. To address this, I added my own inserts to give the shoes a bit more structure and cushioning. That helped significantly, but I do think a shoe at this price point should offer better support right out of the box. If you’re someone who values foot support or has flat feet, I’d recommend planning to add your own orthotics. Otherwise, this is a beautifully designed shoe that nails the retro aesthetic.
