I have been a cyclist all my life (40 years ) . This is the best seat I’ve come across . It’s so comfortable and very tough . It won’t tear as it’s made of leather and no sponge , so no need to replace the seat if it scuffs . It will last a lifetime , I think .

Very nice bag, fits great! I would prefer inside to be dark colour, as white one will get dirty easily. Had my last Brooks bag for 7 years, expect this one to last long as well!

B67 Softened

I ordered the B67 pre-softened saddle, which came with its own sachet of Proofide, and a warrantee brochure written in the smallest font I have ever seen. I scanned the instructions about applying Proofide, but missed the part saying “Proofide must not be applied to a pre-softened saddle” until I had already applied it. Why was the Proofide included if it is not to be used? Also, the saddle is quite hard and inflexible, which makes me wonder if it *was* actually pre-softened. In any case, I am happy with the saddle, and even in its un-broken-in state, it is still marginally more comfortable than the plastic saddle that came with my bike. I’m happy with my Brooks saddle, and look forward to breaking it in and having it custom-fit to my anatomy. I have wanted to have a Brooks saddle for many years, and it seems like the quality of manufacture is extremely high.
