Flyer

Nach Lieferung den Sattel mit dem Sattelfett eingerieben und poliert, wie beschrieben. Auf das Rad und auf mich eingestellt. Was soll ich sagen....ich bin von den ersten Metern weg begeistert. Absolut kein Vergleich zu den Sätteln die ich bisher hatte. Klar ist er nicht etwas steif und hart, aber das ist bei Lederschuhen ebenfalls. Auch die müssen erst eingetragen werden. Ich werde noch einige Kilometer fahren müssen bis mein Hintern perfekt rein passt, aber das wird. Eine Frage bleibt jedoch....ist es normal dass der Sattel ab und an "kracht"? Fakt ist, ich freue mich bereits jetzt schon auf viele Jahre mit dem neuen Sattel.

Scape Large Pannier

Easy to buy and fast shipment. The bag itself was disappointing to find that there is no handle but hooks are in place for them. Also, the lower clip can be adjusted to right side or left side but u like a version from lands end, you cannot rotate the clip to fit any type of rack. What a miss.

B17 Carved

The carved seems to be more comfortable more quickly than the standard b17 although the b17 I had was 15 years broken in so it’s hard to remember. So far the cutout seems adequate for my needs/anatomy but i haven’t done really long rides on it yet and it’s not fully broken in so we’ll see.

Proofide

It’s what they recommend so it’s what I use. My last brooks was 15 years old and the leather was still in great shape when I broke it and this was all I used. I had a 15 ml tin with a tiny bit left over to start the break in on my new saddle. This tin should last me until I lose it.

B67 Softened Short

I am a middle-aged not-in-great-shape woman who wanted a bike for my 6 miles commute to work. Finding a great bike was easy; finding a saddle was not. I tried wide, narrow, gel, cutouts. I wore padded shorts. I measured my sitbones. Nothing but pain. One well-regarded saddle hurt my back so badly I couldn't ride for a week. All these were good products, but just didn't fit my body or an upright riding style. Then the bike mechanic suggested I try a Brooks. I was wary, as the Brooks saddles had none of the features I had been told were essential. Just fine leather stretched over a high-quality frame. But, I decided to give it a try. I installed the saddle, adjusted the angle, took a deep breath, and hopped on. Bliss. Absolute bliss. It just fitted itself to my backside. My tailbone doesn't hurt; my back doesn't hurt; my sitbones don't hurt; my thighs aren't chafed. NOTHING HURTS! And, bonus, the saddle looks absolutely lovely. I wish Brooks would start making office chairs.

Leather Bar Tape

I recently bought leather bar tapes in the honey colour to replace an existing one. I must say that I am disappointed with the colour, I was expecting a more hazelnut tone to match my Honey colour Brooks Swift saddle. That version has more orange tinges, I am just hoping that as it ages the colour will soften a bit.
